If you read my blog, I posted a lipstick haul all from AVON which I posted weeks ago. I bought 9 lippies all-in-all plus one, and Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Rose Lipstick are one of them.

The Ultra Moisture Rich Rose Lipstick comes in 8 shades, I believe that they have 10 shades before but right now, according to August2013 brochure, they only have 8 shades namely:

Amour Rose

Apricot Nectar Rose

French Lace Rose

Blushing Bride Rose

Passionate Kiss Rose

Amelia Rose

Rosabella Rose

Carmen Rose

I love how each shade is tagged by "rose", it gives it a more special feel into it. I got three (3) shades in this collection and this is what I think about them:

PRICE. This lipsticks goes for 299Php. I bought them this month of August which was also their 35th Anniversary so they had a sale and sells this for 199Php each, and since I am a member of AVON I had 25% off each of this item so it now costs 149.25Php plus another 5% off for purchasing a minimum of 1,000 worth of items, the final cost was 139.30Php each! Not bad for an item costs 299Php, right? *wink! ;)

PACKAGING. This was sealed by a plastic wrapper that contained all the details about this product as well as the ingredients. I wasn't able to take a separate photo while it was sealed since I was so excited back then on opening them. I apologize for that though. :3

The lipstick comes in this black tube which is good for me :)

So they have this label thingee that is quite nice. Since I own three and they all look the same, I place them upside down on my organizer. I don't know if it's a bad thing but I find it easier for me to look for the shade that I want. I'm always careful not to drop these babies right here, they're already upside down, dropping them would be the last thing I want to do.

Now for the most fun and awaited part:

S W A T C H E S ! ! !

FRENCH LACE ROSE. Is a nude shade, a bit like peach with a little hint of pink. I use this almost everyday when I just want that fresh look while at school. So for everyone who also want that nude yet not dry look, try this one!

AMELIA ROSE. Is like a dark or rather warm pink tone with a plum undertone. I'm not really a fan of this shade since it looks more plum than warm pink to me, and I'm not comfortable with it. But it is still nice for laddies with fair skin as well as morenas.

CARMEN ROSE. The red lipstick! I'm still working on loving red lipsticks, but I do like them! Maybe this would change my mind about red lippies? We'll see :)

OVERALL. THIS IS GREAT! I got more than what I paid for. Although it didn't stayed long as I expected, but still, it is gorgeous to look at. I'm looking forward on purchasing more shades from this line! That's how I love this lippies!

What I like about this product:

• Softten and moisturize the lips because of it's Rose and Almond Oil Extract.
• It's creamy and glides well on my lips.
• Super pigmented, especially on the darker shades.
• Have this satin finish that looks good on the lips.

What I don't like about the product:

• Didn't last long as what I expected.
• Overpowering smell, it's pleasant but just too strong for me.

I saw this product while I was window-shopping at our local mall. Although I was not planning to buy anything, when I saw this trial pack, I told myself, I've got to give this a try! So I bought it, no questions asked.

I'm quite happy that they have this trial packs since the regular bottle is expensive (well, for me) that's why I was excited on using this on myself!

PRICE. I bought this for 89.75Php and I think it is available at supermarkets as well as department stores on malls nationwide.

PACKAGING. The box is quite small. It contains two (2) 90ml bottle, a shampoo (black bottle) and the other one is the conditioner (white bottle).

S H A M P O O

Calms frizz and tames flyaways to leave you hair silky, smooth & shiny. It's moisturizing formula infused with vitamin H and silk proteins quenches hair's thirst - the key for keeping hair frizz-free.

I didn't had the chance to try this alone without using the conditioner since my hair is rebunded, therefore I need to use conditioner to keep my hair manageable.

SCENT. I love the scent of this shampoo! It's like a floral smell and also have this sweet scent as well. The scent actually stayed on my hair the whole day! I can't resist smelling it once in a while. That's how I love this shampoo!

C O N D I T I O N E R

Infused with Vitamin H and silk proteins, this formula intensely moisturizes your hair to smooth flyaways. For hair that feels sotft, smooth and silky.

This I tried alone and I love this conditioner! It actually made my hair soft and silky with or without shampoo! AMAZING!

SCENT. This have a milder smell compared to the shampoo. It have a pleasant smell actually. I don't know what's with the smell but it actually made me feel relaxed. Weird, I know, but that's my honest opinion. lol.

Both bottle have this opening. What I hate about this is that it is not a soft squeezable bottle, it's kind of hard and what you do is you'll keep on pouring in on your palm. Imagine the same thing you're doing with crystal bottled ketchup, that's exactly what will happen upon using this product.

OVERALL. I love the shampoo especially the conditioner! Since it's only 90ml, the conditioner only lasted for less than two weeks (maaksaya talaga ako sa conditioner, paxenxa na). Nonetheless, it is EFFECTIVE! It did made my hair smooth and silky, as well as manageable and kind of shiny :)

What I like about the product:

• It made my hair smooth and silky.
• I love the scent of both shampoo and conditioner.
• Just enough amount for a trial pack.

What I don't like about the product:

• The bottle itself! I wish it was a squeezable bottle with a nozzle.
• other than that, NOTHING! :)

I will definitely recommend this for all Filipina out there!

AUGUST LIPSTICK HAUL: Avon's 35th Anniversary Sale

Ever since I got fond of makeup, I've been meaning to join AVON and be an Avon Lady

and TODAY IS THE DAY!!! *happy face :)

So let me tell you how I became an Avon Lady. While I was walking around the mall, a lady came up to me and asked me if I would like to join Avon because they are recruiting that day, I thought to myself, "opportunity na 'to!" so I showed my interest on registering. Unfortunately, since it was unexpected, I didn't have the complete requirements with me to register on that day so I just told the lady that I'll go to their main branch to register.

Finally, this morning I got the chance to go to Avon and register! There I met Ate Nilda who was the lady who came up to me at the mall. She patiently orient me about how the Avon business works as well as her experiences and earnings. I actually had a great time with her. She was friendly, accommodating and smiling all the time! hehe! :3

KOJIE●SAN Skin Lightening Soap Review

The Kojic Acid soap you've always trusted, the one prescribed by your dermatologist is now available in Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap. Kojie San has an all-natural kojic acid formula that helps lighten dark spots due to acne, age spots, freckles, sun-damaged skin, and other skin pigmentation.

INGREDIENTS:

Pure Kojic Acid, Sweet Orange, VCO,

I've been through department stores before and I often see this product, but I never thought of buying it for any reason. Before, I have pimple problems especially before my period, so I tried using several product that would minimize my pimple problem. My sister-in-law recommended Koji San since she herself is suffering from acne. Luckily it worked for her so I have to give it a try!

PRICE. As you can see, this costs for 50Php only! This contains two (2) bar soaps already so it's like you're paying 25Php each! Plus it's also available at any department and grocery store, even pharmacies! :D

PACKAGING. It comes in a white box with simple details that is quite pleasant to see (at least for me). The soap is wrapped in a thin transparent wrapper with the printed name on it.

SCENT. It's actually hard to describe. It smells like papaya and orange (if that makes sense). The first time I used it, I thought it was overpowering but I think it just needs a lot of getting used to.

After using it for two (2) weeks, I'm glad to say that my pimple problem was answered! Kojie●San managed to lessen my pimples and my acne went bye bye. Although tiny pimples pop-up once in a while, it doesn't stay long with regular use of this product.

OVERALL. This product is great! It did help me my pimple problem and now I have smoother skin. For my 2-weeks use, I didn't really notice any whitening that happened on my face. Again, I'm not keeping my hopes up with any product that claims that it would whiten skin, so it's alright. The only thing I had with this soap is it melts easily, with that being said, it's bound to NOT last longer.

What I like about this product:

• It's affordable! It costs 50Php for two (2) soap bars already!
• Available at any department and grocery store, even pharmacies.
• Smoothens my skin.
• Dried my skin which is good for me considering that I have oily skin.
• EFFECTIVE!!

What i don't like about the product:

• It melts easily. It don't last long.
• Strange smell.
• Didn't whiten my skin.

I recommend this to anyone with a pimple, acne and blackheads problem.

This is such a great product so you better try it! *wink! ;)

Maxi-Peel Facial Cleanser - Pore Refining Review

This is my daily night routine.

I tried a number of facial cleansers before hoping that it would help my problem with pimples, acne and dark spots.

Then I stumble on this fellow while I was strolling down the mall.

I'm starting to love Maxi-Peel! I have my fair share of experiences with facial cleansers. I tried Eskinol and Skin White but it was not for me. Before, I have pimples all over my face as well as blackheads on my nose area, but after using Maxi-Peel --- my pimples started to lessen!

Maxi-Peel really does lives up to it's claim!

It's been 3 weeks since I used this product. As what I said, my pimples lessen and my face became smooth and it looks healthy as well. I like using it before applying my makeup because it minimizes my pores and gives me a more smoother canvas! It also gives me this cool after-feel, you'll definitely feel fresh after using this. With the whitening part, I didn't really notice my face whiten in my 3-week use. lol. and I don't really keep my hopes up with any product that claims to whiten skin.

OVERALL. This product is GREAT! I'm really impressed with the improvement I got by using this! This is definitely worth more than I payed for. I'm so happy with this purchase. *happy dance. :D

What I like about this product:

• It lessen a significant number of pimples on my face.
• Minimizes pores.
• Gives me a fresh cool feeling after using.
• Cleanses my skin very well.

San San Waterproof Eyeliner Pen Review

San San WATERPROOF Eyeliner Pen

I heard a lot of great things and I was quite intrigued by the reviews of fellow bloggers and Youtube Gurus about this Eyeliner Pen, so I thought of giving it a try. 

PRICE. I got this liner for 85Php (if I'm not mistaken). This is available at

any HBC Branch nationwide.

This is MY FIRST Eyeliner Pen ever! 

I used liquid eyeliner before but since I'm still not an expert in applying them on my eyes, the products that I used tends to transfer and smudge. That's why I switch to eyeliner pen. Gosh it made my job alot easier! ---- and cheaper too! *grin!

PACKAGING. I like the packaging! It's so San San. lol. I got the shade black and it comes in a slim sky blue pen which resembles a typical colored pen and it is also travel-friendly. I bring this whenever I need to go somewhere far and can easily fit into anything! How awesome is that? 

SWATCH. As you can see, it is pigmented and I did not need to press to hard just to produce this pigmentation. It glides well in my skin. This product doesn't really give me a hard time whenever I apply it on my lids, and it does NOT transfer. It dries up quickly which is a good thing for me.

After letting it stay for 5 minutes, I tried rubbing it just to see it it would smudge considering that I was sweating that time which was (I think) a good thing because I tend to sweat on my eye area. This is the result:

Unfortunately, it smudged. I can even remove the entire product from my hand just by rubbing it and a little help from my sweat. So it didn't really came out good. *sad face :(

But then again, this is still a good product. It's really affordable and definitely worth the money you payed --- even more! 

What I like about the product:

• Very affordable! It costs for like 85Php only!
• Available nationwide at any HBC store.
• Has Vitamin A, C & E which helps skin look and be healthy.
• Travel-friendly.
• It does not transfer.

What I did not like about the product:

• It smudged
• Can be removed by merely rubbing it.
• It has Paraben.

I am looking forwards for my quest on searching for the perfect eyeliner pen and liquid eyeliner and gel for me.
